LAW-6428 LAW & RELIGION
This course focuses on the relationship between law and religion in the United States, primarily the prohibition against establishment of a religion and the right to free exercise of religion. Themes explored in class will include how the law both protects and limits religious practice; judicial responses to conflicts between freedom of religion and other constitutional rights; and the interaction between secular an religous practices and/or law.
