LAW-6211 IMMIGRATION LAW
The course will examine the legal issues surrounding immigration and citizenship, including the difficult questions of who can obtain legal status in this country and how, the rights of noncitizens in the United States, why and how noncitizens can be forced to leave, and who is and can become a United States citizen. We will focus not only on the doctrine of immigration law, but also on the theory and practice.
