LAW-6170 PROTECTIONS, CHILDREN AND THE LAW

This course will focus on the rights of children to be protected and the legal tension between children, their parents, their schools or other service providers. While the course will primarily involve the discussion of case law, statutes, and procedural rules, there will be considerable discussion of policy considerations justifying many of the laws dealing with children.
