LAW-5003 LEGAL WRITING III

The skill of appellate advocacy will be the focus of this course. Students will be given a fact pattern associated with an appeal. They will research the law and draft an appellate brief. Students will also develop oral advocacy skills wherein they will argue the substance of their brief. The course ends with an intra-school oral competition.
