EMS-2602 PARAMEDIC 2
EMS 2602 is the second course in the sequence necessary for the completion of the Paramedic Certificate Program. This course is designed to reinforce and expand upon the material and skills learned in Paramedic I level and to integrate prior learning with enhanced life support concepts and skills. Emphasis is placed on patient assessment and recognition of significant findings, prehospital diagnosis and differential diagnosis, treatment strategies, anatomy and physiology, pathophysiology, and the management of respiratory emergencies, cardiac emergencies, endocrine and metabolic emergencies, neurological emergencies, gastrointestinal/genitourinary emergencies, toxicological emergencies, environmental emergencies, OB/GYN emergencies, neonatal emergencies, pediatric emergencies, patients with special challenges, and assessment based management. This course includes Modules that cover the latest edition of the National EMS Education Standards for Paramedic Programs.
