LAW-6385 NON-PROFIT ENTITIES
A broad introduction to the special legal and conceptual problems of non-profit organizations. The course will include a description of the non-profit universe and the theoretical rationales for the non-profit sector. The principal topics covered are organization and governance, fiduciary obligations of officers and directors, investment powers, regulation of charitable solicitation and the enforcement of donors, the attorney general and others.
