LAW-6132 ADVANCED FAMILY LAW SEMINAR
The purposes of this course is to acquaint the student with the many facets involving the dissolution of marriage. Areas of consideration are support for children or a spouse, distribution and valuation of marital assets, determining non-marital assets, evaluating loans vs. gifts, third party responsibilities, jurisdiction for child custody as well as the enforcement and modification of final judgements. During this course the students will prepare pleadings, child support guidelines worksheet, equitable distribution worksheet, and trial notebooks.
