PSY-499 INTERNSHIP
This Internship is an academic course that provides a capstone experiential learning opportunity which allows psychology majors across all specializations, including Child an Adolescent Development, Forensic, and Industrial/Organization (I/O) to integrate academic theory with real-world application. Under faculty and site supervision, students complete a structured internship in settings relevant to their specialization (e.g., forensic institutions, corporate environments, child/adolescent/family service agencies), culminating in a reflective project demonstrating content knowledge as well as entry-level professional competency and readiness. Prerequisites: Junior-year standing; completion of core specialization coursework. Approval by the Department Chair.
