Refund Policy for Military Tuition Benefits
Department of Defense Personnel using Tuition Assistance (TA) from their branch of service will have any unearned TA funds returned to their branch of service on a proportional basis through at least the 60 percent portion of the period for which the funds were provided. TA funds are earned proportionally during an enrollment period, with unearned funds returned to the respective branch of service based upon when a student stops attending (withdrawal from, dropping the course, or ceasing to attend).
Refund calculations apply to any student who is attending this institution and withdrawals within 60% into the period of enrollment for which the student has received TA. Once a student has completed more than 60% of the period of enrollment, all of their assistance has been earned (by the school) and will be retained by the university.
