THE-310 OLD TESTAMENT ANTIQUITY TODAY

The Old Testament in Antiquity and Today is a survey and critical study of the Christian Old Testament (i.e., the Jewish Tanak), with special attention to the historical contexts in which it was written, its Hebrew prose and poetic literary elements, theological themes, and its reception in contemporary social, political, theological, and popular contexts. Prerequisite: THE 201 or 306.
