HIS-384 MODERN LATIN AMERICA

This course will focus on the history of Latin America from independence to present day. Topics include nationalism, state formation, the relationship between Latin American countries and the United States, revolutions and dictatorships. Emphasis is placed on political and social developments. Prerequisite: HIS 102.
