HIS-101 WORLD CIVILIZATION TO 1500

The course examines the history of the major civilizations across the globe from their earliest origins to 1500. Major themes include the development of civilizations in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas, and the factors to their success and decline. Topics include the development of ideas, politics, religion, and commerce. Co-requisite: ENG 111 or higher.
