Professional Training Option for Content Majors (PTO)

The Professional Training Option (PTO) is available to students earning a major in a content area outside of education. Requirements for admission to the PTO include a 2.5 GPA in the content major as well as passing of the General Knowledge Exam portion of the Florida Teacher Certification Examination.
