HIS-339 GERMANY SINCE 1871

The course will assess the history of Germany from its unification in 1871 through to the present. Major themes include industrialization, World War I, Nazism, World War II, the division and subsequent unification of Germany. Political and social changes will be emphasized throughout the course.
