CLB-523 ADVANCED MEDICAL LAB SCIENCES
CLB 523 Advanced Medical Laboratory Sciences presents a deep overview of concepts, procedures, and clinical applications pertinent to the Medical Laboratory Scientist profession. In addition to learning about test taking skills for the MLS board exam, students are given a detailed preview of the MLS board exam content for Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, Urinalysis/BodyFluids, and Laboratory Operations. Students are offered a basic preview of the board exam content for Immunology, Blood Banking, and Microbiology. The hands-on laboratory portion of the course focuses on Molecular Diagnostics and Serology testing. Prerequisites: None
