DAN-330 DANCE & SOCIAL MEDIA
This course will explore the explosion of dance in social media in the 21st Century. There will be an investigation into dance and its impact in social media. The student will examine various dance genres and experience how websites and applications are used to share ideas. The student will also explore the positive and negative aspects of social media as it is used today, the global and cultural impact on society and how social justice issues can be promoted through this medium. Students will experience dance in social media as a mode of communication and as a way to stay connected. (Prerequisite ENG 112 or 210)
