THE-610G PROPHETIC LITERATURE

A study of the origin and development of the prophetic movement in Israel and its relationship to other prophetic movements in the Ancient Near East; analysis of the prophetical books of the Old Testament and of the role of the prophets. Major emphasis will be on the prophets from the 8th to the 6th centuries.
