NUR-432 PCC: HIGH ACUITY NURSING
This course focuses on the acquisition and synthesis of healthcare knowledge with an emphasis on the adult population in the critical care environment. The student will apply the nursing process, problem solving techniques, and critical thinking techniques in caring for patients with multi-system disease processes. Prerequisites for Traditional Option: NUR 343, NUR 416, NUR 418. Prerequisites for Accelerated Option: NUR 343, NUR 418, NUR 422. Corequisites (AO): NUR 438, NUR 456, NUR 458.
