POS-201 AMERICAN GOVERNMENT

A broad overview of the history, structure, and practice of U.S. government, designed to introduce students to politics in the United States at the national level. Topics include the U.S. constitution, governing institutions, political behavior, policy, and theories about the political system. The topics discussed will be applied to contemporary issues in the U.S. throughout the term.
