Criminology (B.S.)

The major in Criminology requires a minimum of 39 credit hours. Students must earn a minimum grade of C in all major area courses and in MAT-152, which is the required general education mathematics course. Students can only re-attempt a major course once and cannot re-attempt more than two major courses. In both of the above instances, withdrawals count as an attempt. Students must complete the Core Courses (15 credit hours) and a minimum of 12 credit hours in each of the two specialization areas. The criminology major requires a minimum of 39 credit hours. In addition, criminology majors must complete MAT-152 Elementary Probability and Statistics. Students must earn a grade of C or higher in MAT-152 and all SOC and CRM courses.
