SES-483 SENIOR PROJ SPORT, EXER & PERF PSYCH
This is a senior capstone course which integrates the knowledge, concepts, as well as professional and clinical skills gained from prior coursework in the sport, exercise, and performance psychology undergraduate program. Students will be able to choose from two different options in this capstone course: a) an applied project in which the student will provide an assessment as well as an intervention for a client/team (e.g., athlete, exerciser, musician, dancer) by using real-world experiences as a laboratory for understanding, developing, and advancing the principles of applied psychology; b) a research project in which the student will provide the development of research techniques, including the ability to define a research problem, write hypotheses, review the literature, apply a research design, collect and analyze data, and interpret the results. Prerequisites: Senior Status, and Program Advisor's approval
