COM-340 FILM GENRES

This course examines the concepts associated with the analysis of film genres. Students are first introduced to film concepts using an easily identifiable genre, such as the musical or Western, and then apply these concepts to more difficult to define genres, such as film noir, or genres that blend over into other film categories, such as horror/fantasy/science fiction crossovers.
