Health Professions Foundations
The Health Professions Foundation is for those students interested in pursuing one of the clinical biology specialization programs after two years of study. Students in the Health Professions Foundation will take foundation courses in biology, chemistry, math as well as general distribution requirements, before applying to one of the specialization programs. Acceptance to an individual specialization program, be it Histotechnology or Medical Technology, is dependent upon the satisfactory completion of the first two years of study with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA. The department’s admissions committee will review academic performance and suitability to each discipline before granting a change of major into a specialization program.Curriculum (67 credits)
