ANE-615 ADV PRINC OF ANE: SPECIAL POPULATIONS

This course focuses on the advanced principles of anesthesia care for patients undergoing unique surgical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach. Emphasis is placed on the pre-operative assessment, clinical management and technology. Content includes anesthesia in emergencies and settings outside of the traditional surgical suites. Prerequisites: Admission into Doctor of Nursing Practice Program sequence, or special permission of the faculty member. Admission criteria is defined in the Graduate Catalogue.
