Post-Graduate Certificates
The post-graduate certificates in nursing is designed for the Registered Nurse (RN) or Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who possesses a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree or higher who desires to obtain a new or additional advance practice nursing specialty certification. Students must select the preferred specialization and meet all admission criteria to be admitted into the certificate program of study. An individualized curriculum plan will be created by the program director and faculty advisor in collaboration with the student. Certificate specializations include: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) and Nurse Anesthesiology (CRNA). The individualized curriculum for the post-graduate certificate for Nurse Anesthesiology (CRNA) must first receive prior approval from the Council on Accreditation (COA) for nurse anesthesiology programs.
